Si queremos que nuestras fibras Speedgrass nos ofrezcan el máximo resultado, estén como el primer día y sigamos siendo la envidia de los vecinos, hemos de tener en cuenta unos sencillos consejos de mantenimiento. El no llevarlos a cabo, y si el uso del césped es muy exhaustivo, seguramente el aspecto del mismo se verá afectado por el paso del tiempo.

Ya ha quedado atrás la época en que el césped artificial se vendía bajo el lema del “nulo mantenimiento”. Puede que seamos de los primeros en afirmar que el césped artificial tiene un mínimo mantenimiento, pero nos enorgullece estar al lado de nuestros clientes informándoles de la realidad. Las delicadas fibras del césped de jardinería requieren de unos mínimos cuidados. Prácticamente nulos si los comparamos con los que necesita el césped natural, pero existen y se los hemos de contar.

 

¿Cómo mantener como nuevo su jardín Speedgrass?

1> Cepillar superficialmente el jardín cada 3 meses, y en temporada alta cada mes. Se recomienda el uso de cepillos barrenderos blandos o de cualquier maquinaria barredora. Si el uso es intensivo este periodo indicativo de tiempo se verá reducido, o al contrario, aumentado.

2> Si hace semanas que no llueve, sería conveniente regar durante dos o tres minutos para limpiar las posibles partículas de polvo que pueden permanecer en las fibras ensuciándolas.

3> Se recomienda que si se riega no se haga con aguas muy ricas en minerales y en cal (procedentes de pozos, depósitos naturales o minas), ya que pueden crear una lámina mineral por encima del pelo, que le hará perder las cualidades de textura, suavidad y recuperación iniciales.

4> Revisar el nivel de árido de relleno (en los modelos que lo requieran) para mantener siempre el mismo lastre. Cuando se detecte que en alguna zona del jardín existe menos nivel de carga de lo que sería habitual, se debería rellenar de nuevo de la arena de sílice apropiada según cada instalación, para volverle a dar las propiedades iniciales del recebado de arenas.

5> Es recomendable también un mínimo mantenimiento profesional cada 18-24 meses (según el volumen y el tipo de uso de la superficie) , o cuando las fibras lo requieran. Esta intervención consistirá en una revisión y posible lastrado del jardín, así como de un cepillado mecánico de toda la superficie, que conseguirá alargar la vida del césped artificial al máximo.

If we do not carry them out and we have an exhaustive use of our grass, its appearance will surely be affected as time goes by.
 
It is ages since the times when artificial grass was sold under the motto “zero maintenance”. We might be one of the first ones to state that artificial grass demands a minimum maintenance, we are proud to inform our client about the reality. The delicate garden grass fibres need some cares. Practically inexistent if we compare them to the ones needed by natural grass, but they exist and it needs to be told. 
 
How can your keep your Speedgrass grass new?
1.Brush superficially the garden every 3 months, and in high season once a month. It is advisable to use soft brushes or any brushing machine. It the use is intensive, this indicated period will be reduce, or otherwise, increased.
 
2.If it has not rained for a couple of weeks, it would be convenient to water for two or three minutes to clean possible dirt particles which can make the fibres dirty.
 
3.It is advisable not to water using rich mineral waters and lime (coming from wells, natural sources or mines), as a mineral layer may generate on top of the hair, which will lead to its loss of texture, softness and initial recovery.
 
4. Revise the level of hard grain filling ( models where it is required) to maintain the same ballast all the time. When an area in the garden is spotted to have a lower load level than usual, it should be refilled with proper silica sand according to the installation, to give the initial properties back.
 
5. It is also advisable a minimum professional maintenance every 18-24 months (according to the volume and type of surface) or where the fibres require it. This intervention will consist of a revision and possible garden ballast, as well as a mechanical brush of the total surface, which will lengthen the artificial grass life to the most.
